Young Scholars

  • All SAM candidates that achieve a 3.75/4.0 grade point average (or equivalent) for courses taken in the academic term during which they were candidates will be recognized as members of the Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation's Young Scholars Program. Young Scholars will receive recognition and for candidates earning a 3.75 or better during the 2011-12 academic year the award has been increased to $300.

If the candidate has the required GPA, is a full-time student at the chapter's host institution, and is an initiated member in good standing, he should apply for recognition using the form on this page.

This program is funded through the generosity of Past Supreme Prior Sidney Guller, pictured on the right, a key supporter of the Foundation.
